During the first three quarters of 2023.China's GDP grew by 5.2% year-on-year to 91.3 trillion yuan. In the thirdquarter, the GDP increased by 4.9%YoY and 1.3% quarterly. Thanks to thisstronger-than-expected growthperformance and recent policyannouncements, the InternationalMonetary Fund (IMF) has recentlyraised its forecast for China's GDPgrowth in 2023 from 5% to 5.4% and for2024 from 4.2% to 4.6%
Although China's GDP grew at a higherrate in Q2 2023 (6.3%) than in Q3(4.9%)
